Good News: Pakistani missions in UAE to open on Saturday
Various services including passport renewal, ID cards and attention to be offered
Dubai: Good news for Pakistani expatriates in the UAE as the Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai will remain open on Saturday, August 24 to offer various consular services.
“Pakistani community members in UAE can come to the consulate on Saturday, August 24for various services including passport renewal, Nadra (I.D renewal) and document attestation services,” said Mohammed Saleh, Press Consular the Pakistan Consulate General in Dubai. He said that the consulate has decided to offer services on Saturday to facilitate the community members who are unable to come to the consulate on working days. Also, he said, the move would help ease the rush of applicants on normal working days in during the week.
According to the consulate, an average of more than 900 Pakistanis visit the consulate on working days to get various consular services. They mostly come to apply or renew their national ID cars or to renew their passports.
Saleh said that the consulate also was also open during the last two Saturdays. He said the facilitate would continue depending on the demand of the community and rush of applicants.
